Overview

Jollity & Co + Daydream is seeking a motivated and driven sales professional to join our wholesale team! The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, independent, and creative. We are looking for someone who shares our positive vibes and vibrant aesthetic and can kill it  this role, you will work closely with customers, our Wholesale Manager, and other sales reps, plus our customer service and marketing teams, to help with all duties and projects that come under the responsibility of our sales department.

Since launching in 2016, Jollity & Co has been obsessed with curating a collection of party decorations, giftable items, and tableware that create beautiful, memorable parties. We love parties and finding a reason to celebrate every event! We currently manage three online retail shops and two wholesale lines. Our wholesale lines are sold around the world!

What

you’ll do
  • Responsible for new business and the existing book of business. You're the go-to on all the new stores wherever our line needs to be. You understand where our brand fits and where it does not.
  • Outbound calls to new and existing customers
  • Continuous follow-up w/ clients via phone and email
  • Soliciting new products to current customers
  • Make outbound calls to customers and potential customer accounts.
  • Follow up with existing customers via phone about reorders and how the products are selling in their stores
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets
  • Regularly solicit new products to current customers
  • Manage lead database and other wholesale systems to maximize sales and efficiency
  • Travel is required, including attending multiple trade shows each year.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparations for trade shows
  • Attending trade shows
  • Brand rep
  • Manage our wholesale ordering platforms. Including but not limited to adding new products, adjusting products, uploading product imagery, etc., while adhering to brand standards
  • Help unload trucks with our warehouse team when new products arrive.
  • Any other duties assigned to you.
What you can bring to the table
  • Have 3-5 years of inside sales and customer service experience
  • Be self-motivated, independent, and enthusiastic
  • Have the gumption to hop on the phone and cold call new accounts
  • Holds a proven track record of sales achievement and has a serious passion to win
  • Outstanding relationship development skills (you re like amazingly good at working with others)
  • Exceptional project and time management skills - we have an extensive list of retailers and products; how will you segment your days to contact them all while fielding incoming calls, too?
  • Strong influencing and negotiating abilities
  • Have previous customer service and retail experience
  • Proficient in programs including Word, Excel, and Illustrator or Canva
  • Excellent attention todetail
  • Experience selling a giftable inspirational product
  • Strong ability to manage long-term needs and develop plans with achievable timelines
  • A solutions-oriented mentality
  • Growth mindset - you’re always imagining what’s possible, leveraging past learnings, and have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to wear multiple hats, as we are a small business
  • Be driven and fearless, working hard and making cold calls isn’t for the faint of heart

Salary Range: $50,500.00 - $54,500.00 per year

We are open to remote employees; however, candidates located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia are required to work a hybrid schedule from our Norfolk, VA office.
