They utilize tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Additional responsibilities include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
The Specialist reports hazardous conditions, minimizes injury risks, demonstrates integrity, and supports store-specific business objectives while focusing on asset protection and operational responsibilities.
