As a Fiber Splicer, you are responsible for producing end-to-end fiber optic networks. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and you're up for the challenge.

• Testing and troubleshooting continuity of fiber optic networks
• Operate all testing equipment and resolve challenges common to fiber optic networks
• Prepping fiber splice enclosures such as Tyco, Commscope, Corning, etc.
• Utilize fusion splicer, OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) 1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, OLTS, Max Tester, Power meter
• Fiber engineering knowledge of fiber design, reading documentation, understanding light levels and dB loss

Work in outdoor utility construction sites.

About You:

• Safety is part of your daily routine

• Enjoy working closely with your team
• At least 3-5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience
• Comfortable working on ladders or bucket trucks
• Flexible with shifts and overtime
