Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Polisher who will be responsible for core drilling into set concrete, polishing it to a glossy finish, removing concrete for pipe or conduit installations, and flat sawing to cut or create patterns in concrete.
Responsibilities- Perform core drilling into set concrete.
- Polish concrete surfaces to achieve a glossy finish.
- Remove concrete to facilitate the installation of pipes or conduits.
- Conduct flat sawing to cut concrete or create desired patterns.
- Experience in concrete work, construction, and rebar handling.
- Proficiency in concrete polishing techniques.
- Skill in sawing, core drilling, joint sealing, floor polishing, and concrete repair.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and use hand tools efficiently.
Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting.
We offer a supportive work environment with performance evaluations after 90 days and an initial review in the first three weeks. This position provides a contract‑to‑hire opportunity, allowing for growth and stability within the company.
Work EnvironmentThe work is conducted outdoors, from Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging from 8–10 hours per day. There is an opportunity to earn up to 15 overtime hours weekly. Some night shifts may be required, providing a diverse and dynamic work schedule.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 – $27.00/hr.
