Are you a hands-on professional who thrives in dynamic outdoor environments? We’re looking for a Heavy Civil Carpenter to join our growing team and help shape critical infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for constructing and aligning forms for duct banks and concrete structures, placing and finishing concrete to precise specifications, and installing conduit and embedded items per project plans.

• Construct and align forms for duct banks and concrete structures.

• Place, consolidate, and finish concrete to meet grade, texture, and tolerance requirements.

• Interpret construction drawings and specifications with accuracy.

• Install conduit and embedded items as per project plans.

• Use carpentry and concrete tools with confidence and precision.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete forming and finishing in heavy civil or utility construction.

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

• Proven experience in heavy civil carpentry.

• Skilled in using industry-standard tools and equipment.

• Consistent 60+ hour workweeks with opportunities for overtime pay .

This position is based in Hampton or Norfolk, Virginia and offers a contract-to-hire path for long-term career growth

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Norfolk, VA.
