We are seeking experienced Laborers for $16 per hour to work in our project located in NORFOLK, VA. This is a great opportunity for skilled workers seeking steady work and the chance to build a lasting career with PCL right here in the area. The project offers prevailing wages (no fringes included) and the stability of a 4‑year long‑term assignment.
As a Laborer, you will contribute to our team by:- Experience with other skills
- Piping knowledge for installing above ground to underground pipe work
- Mechanical installation
- Layout for tank and mechanical installation
- Knowledge in reading and understanding drawings with little help
- Knowledge in shooting elevations
Basic operating machinery experience - Daily work planning skills
- 2 years plus experience in Water and Wastewater construction preferred.
- Experience digging underground.
- Knowledge in different types of underground utilities install.
- Able to dig to grade.
- Ability to understand and read plans.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Drug free and able to pass a drug screen at all times.
