Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Foreman to lead our roofing team in delivering high-quality roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on every project.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise roofing crews in the installation, repair, or replacement of roofs.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule tasks, allocating resources efficiently.
• Recruit, train, and manage roofing crew members, ensuring that they are skilled, motivated, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project goals, safety measures, and overall performance.
• Inspect work in progress and upon completion to ensure it meets company and industry standards.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the durability and functionality of roofing systems.
• Proactively identify potential issues and obstacles that may impact project timelines or quality.
• Work closely with the team to develop and implement solutions, minimizing disruptions and ensuring the smooth progression of projects.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Foreman in commercial roofing.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and construction techniques.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and roofing plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in roofing preferred.
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to work at heights.
• Physically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time to lift and carry roofing materials
