Reefer Technician responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
Key Duties- Diagnose control board failures
- replace compressors
- repair evaporator and condenser systems
- perform advanced diagnostics
- replace sensors and electrical components
- analyze refrigeration performance
- oversee major repairs
- assist with warranty support
- maintain accurate service records
- High school diploma or GED
- 608 certification
- EPA certification
- valid driver’s license
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Must provide mechanic tools and complete required safety and driving certifications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to handle physical demands like lifting up to 75 pounds
- working in varying environments
- operating in moderate to high noise levels
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
