The City of Norfolk’s Department of Utilities is seeking a Utility Maintenance Mechanic I in the Wastewater Division. The role operates and maintains water and wastewater equipment, performs meter readings, and responds to customer concerns to keep stations functional.
Essential duties include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to pumps, motors, pipes, and related facilities. A High School diploma/equivalency and a valid driver’s license are required.
