Job Description
: NATO HQ Supreme Allied Command Transformation (NATO SACT) is seeking contract support for the capture, development, architecture, data science and quality assurance of capability requirements and operational analysis necessary to adapt to future threats and explore long-term military strategy to shape how NATO s forces will operate in the future. To support our NATO customer, SimIS Inc seeks a Full Stack Developer to support NATO Capability Program Managers and projects.

The candidate will develop products as part of a balanced agile team (Product Manager, Product Owner, UI/UX Designer, and Data Scientists as applicable).

Experience Required
:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in full-stack development using JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Minimum 4 years of experience in front-end development (React, Angular, etc.) and/or back-end development (Node.js, Django/Flask, Spring Boot, etc.)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in database design/programming (MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, etc.)
• Experience in REST API design and development
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience in Microservices Architecture
• Experience deploying containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift
• Experience working in collaborative, agile teams
• Experience delivering iterative releases in an Agile/Dev Sec Ops  environment

Responsibilities
:

• Build containerized application tools following the 12-Factor App methodology, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Extreme Programming (XP)
• Develop products as part of a balanced agile team (Product Manager, Product Owner, UI/UX Designer, and Data Scientists as applicable)
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Develop full-stack solutions using modern JavaScript, Python, and/or Java frameworks
• Perform front-end development (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Django/Flask, Spring Boot)
• Conduct database design and programming (e.g., MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB)
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift
• Work in a collaborative, pair programming environment as needed
• Rapidly learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, and tools
• Support the creation of sustainable Dev Sec Ops  pipelines and agile delivery practices
