As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll be joining an elite team of subject matter experts supporting Military Sealift Command’s Ship Maintenance Support Program providing a full range of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services to ships operating worldwide.
Responsibilities:- Research, order, and track material identified by Principal Port engineers as Government Furnished Material (GFM)
- Perform technical edit screening on all material or service order requests
- Research, submit, track, and validate requisitions and material required to support ship mission, repair, ashore allowances, and shipboard allowance requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the status of all material ordered for ship maintenance availabilities; participate in cradle to grave tracking processes to support ship maintenance scheduling.
- Maintain inventory accuracy of all assigned vessels stored in various MSC warehouses
- Perform task administration, team training and quality assurance
- Technical writing, developing, editing, reviewing and formatting trainee and desk guides.
- Secret clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 14 years of demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and relevant experience fleet sustainment logistics support services to fleet vessels of the MSC, U.S. Navy, or U.S. Coast Guard.
- Highly proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel
- Experience with ship acquisition and fleet sustainment support services utilizing any of the following systems: MSC/Navy/Coast Guard/Commercial databases/systems as well as One Touch Supply Logi Quest or Haystack and Fed Mall

Pay Range
: $51,800-$106,200.
