Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance for the safety of site workers and general public.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections, safety assessments and safety audits.
- Conduct risk assessments.
- Make recommendations regarding modification, improvement, or removal of any hazardous equipment, facilities, or machinery that is dangerous to employee safety or health.
- Investigate incidents and complete associated paperwork.
- Drive corrective action.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested by the company.
- Serve as company liaison with overseeing municipalities, OSHA, insurance carriers and other regulatory agencies.
- Maintain all safety‐related documentation.
- Develop safety kick‑off presentations and conduct on‑site orientations and pre‑shift meetings.
- 5+ years of construction safety experience.
- Experience with 1926 OSHA Standards for Construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety related duties on projects for new manufacturing facilities.
