Join the Kids @ Heartland Team – Summer 2026 Classroom Assistants Wanted!

Heartland Community College’s Continuing Education department is seeking enthusiastic and responsible part‑time Classroom Assistants to support our Kids @ Heartland summer program!
Kids @ Heartland offers exciting, hands‑on learning experiences for students in grades K–12. From art and video game design to healthcare and STEM, our diverse range of classes encourages students to explore new interests and build skills in a fun, engaging environment.

As a Classroom Assistant, you’ll work alongside instructors, gaining valuable classroom experience while helping create a positive, supportive space for young learners. This is a great opportunity for those interested in education, youth programs, or simply making a difference over the summer.

• Eligibility:
  Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Thursday, with both morning and afternoon shifts available.
• Training:
  Paid training provided.
• Location:
  
  Central Illinois; ability to be present on‑campus/in‑person is required.
• Authorization:
  Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
