The Department of Special Education invites a pool of qualified persons interested in non-tenure-track teaching positions (part-time or full time) in anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions.
The Department emphasizes excellence in teaching and seeks energetic and knowledgeable instructors who will teach students pursuing a special education major or minor. We seek individuals with expertise to teach undergraduate courses (face-to-face and online) in one or more of the following areas: introduction to special education; early childhood /early intervention; education of learners with extensive support needs; transition from school to adulthood in special education;
class-wide and individualized behavior supports; assistive technology; and bilingual/ESL special education.
