Job Summary

The Department of Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality provides the campus community and guests with high-quality, efficient, and innovative event services and dining options. This position assists in food and kitchen equipment storage and other manual labor tasks. It supports a welcoming and inclusive food service environment.

$19.62 per hour

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post‑offer pre‑employment physical exam required.

• One year of custodial or related work experience.
• Knowledge and acceptance of diversity principles.
• Familiarity with cleaning materials, methods, and equipment.
• Excellent communication; read/write; follow oral/written instructions; work independently.
• Team player; flexibility; results oriented.
• Basic mechanical ability; heavy lifting.
• Ability to train and instruct student employees.

Must be able to stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; perform standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and seeing.
