Product Demonstrator Part Time

Product Demonstrator Part Time – 4815 at Product Connections (Acosta Group).

Location:

Normal, IL. Part‑time, estimated 25 hours per week. Salary: $15.00 per hour.

As an in‑store associate, you will prepare, serve, and break down food and non‑food product demonstrations. You will intercept consumers, demonstrate products, and communicate their features and benefits. You will maintain a professional appearance and support the execution of events.

• Proactively intercept, engage, and interact with consumers to demonstrate products.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station and use cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare the event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports per company policy.
• Submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF forms.

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience preferred; equivalent combination acceptable.

Computer

Skills:

Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device and navigating internal systems.

Certificates: Local food handlers permit may be required.

Physical Demands: Stand, walk, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb stairs or ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), push/pull wheeled demonstration cart, prepare food using appliances, contact with cleaning supplies.

Language: English primary; bilingual may be required.

Work Environment: Retail store with limited travel.
