Security Officer - Auto Patrol Monitor – Normal, IL

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and exceptional customer service will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This is a driving post; a valid driver's license is required. • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report suspicious activities or potential hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized access as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Document all security‑related incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
