As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Associate in Normal, IL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout an automotive location. Remaining visible and approachable, you will support a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and/or client protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and client personnel to support a secure environment within the automotive location.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
