Responsibilities- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance and repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Experience with internal engine repair
- Detailed understanding of aftertreatment systems and components
- Proficient with engine diagnostic software
- Cummins experience preferred
- Trade school or equivalent education
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
- Valid driving permit (Preferred)
- Required licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations (if applicable)
Intermediate level knowledge in internal engine repair;
Cummins experience preferred.
- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
- A current valid license is required for this role
- Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
- This role requires a 5‑year motor vehicle report free from major violations
Technician – On‑site with flexibility; 100% in‑person work required.
Compensation & BenefitsBase salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include 401(k), Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and additional personal and professional benefits.
Salary RangeMinimum $30,000 – Maximum $36,500 (estimated)
