Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is continuing to support new product launches and manufacturing capabilities. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with our partner Rivian to test and integrate vehicle software with our factory systems.

Success in this role would mean the launch of new vehicles and efficiency improvements that impact the full organization.

• Drive end‑to‑end execution of vehicle software bring‑up; taking on integration, testing, issue escalation, resolution, and complete software testing and trials.
• Develop tools, standards, and test procedures to thoroughly test vehicle software and integration with factory systems.
• Work with stakeholders in vehicle and factory software teams to arbitrate discussion, development, and issue resolution.
• Define and drive development of new software and hardware in‑loop test cases.
• Drive important metrics for vehicle software test coverage and issue reporting.

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience working on complex, cross‑functional, distributed software systems.
• Knowledge of software release and build processes (Agile, git/svn, gitlab, jenkins, groovy).
• Experience writing test cases, unit testing, and integration/system testing (SIL/HIL).
• Experience with test tools and software such as NI Test Stand, Lab View, Test Automation Software, PyTest, Google Test, Pickering, GoTest, etc.
• Experience developing for embedded systems in C/C++/Rust/Golang/Python/Qt.
• Experience with networked embedded systems (CAN, Ethernet, LIN, DOIP, ISOTP).
• Experience developing or integrating network‑attached systems (Telematics, Linux, TCP/IP, HTTP).
• Strong development and test skills.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

• Experience working with manufacturing teams or in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in configuration management on a complex electromechanical product (Agricultural, Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Manufacturing).
• Experience with systems engineering and common systems analysis practices.
• Experience with data reporting tools (Hex, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, R).
• Experience with networking tools (Putty, Vector tools, SSH/SCP, Git, Wireshark).
• Experience with messaging strategies (MQTT, NATS, UDP/TCP, API design).
• Experience with remotely connected systems (SSH, SCP, RDP, IPv4/6).
