Job Description

The Office of the Registrar provides essential information for current and past students. Aids in navigation of the online enrollment system and obtaining copies of their Academic Transcripts. This position requires a strong working knowledge of University procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with enrollment questions
• Effectively answer the main phone line
• Fulfill walk in transcript and verification requests
• Process major changes
• Assist in mailing diplomas
• Provide excellent customer services
• Assist with training of new student staff
• Work on various tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Education
:
Must be currently enrolled in the Spring term as an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Skills

• Must be able to answer University related questions asked by students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude during stressful situations
• Must possess organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to meet expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic, customer-oriented environment
• Knowledge of, and experience with, the University of Oklahoma Campus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Applications

Department Preferences

• Previous experience working with the public in a customer service setting
• Advanced skills in Office 365 Application
