Overview

Be among the first applicants for a role with Genuine Parts Company as an Automotive Parts Specialist. This position focuses on automotive parts knowledge and customer service within a fast-paced environment.

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
• Use parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer customer questions
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced environment
• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced
• Inform customers on parts availability

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers
• Ability to work in or around an airport environment in a shop environment

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems
• Fully customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications
