• To manage the overall construction process of individual homes to ensure quality work (via Scopes of Work) Variance Analysis: that the home remains within the established budget, and that the home is delivered on schedule and to the customer’s satisfaction.
• To assist in establishing and maintaining the goals of Ideal Homes through the use of construction systems, Trade Contractor and Vendor relations, and exceeding the customer’s expectations via the planned homeowner meetings.
• To accept all responsibility for knowing and understanding all of Ideal Homes’ policies related to construction, and to act on those appropriately with the necessary urgency to accomplish our construction goals.
• To always be aware of internal customers and the business relationship that exists with them in order to insure that all communications between development, sales, construction, closing, customer care, accounting and estimating is timely, courteous and correct. This will help us achieve our ultimate goal of satisfying the customer.
• To accept all responsibility and be accountable for anything that takes place on their job sites and within their circle of influence, and to understand that it is perfectly acceptable and appropriate to seek help in accomplishing any of our goals.
• Manage field assistants when working in your community. Responsible for keeping track of quality/quality of work and adhering to company policies.

• Keep FAST updated daily, adhere to FAST Field View Procedure.
• Maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty in all business dealings.
• Be professional in dress, manners, and conduct.
• Be a self-motivated individual and displays initiative.
• Keep personal agenda and ego separate from business.
• Be courteous and safety driven. Maintain a good driving record.
• Be able to handle emotional and confrontational people in a calm and professional manner. Never lose composure.
• Be able to read and understand plans and specifications completely. Have a good understanding of land development plats and As Builts.
• Maintain good relationship with all trade contractors, vendors, customers, team members, municipal inspectors and treat them with respect.
• Be knowledgeable of all applicable building codes, OSHA requirements, and other legal restrictions.
• Know and understand the performance criteria and construction standards (scopes of work) of each of the trades.
• Understand and follow all policies and procedures in the Builder’s binder. Maintain safe job sites.
• Understand and enforce all agreements made with external customers in a fair and diplomatic manner, i.e. Trade Contractor Agreement.
• Understand role of the Builder’s interaction with the following departments:
• Ideal Design (IDI):
  Notify problems with plans; to the Division Manager
• Estimating:
  Help control and report variances, notify Division Manager with proper documentation. Focus on eliminating material misuse and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Accounting:
  Be responsible for approval of purchase orders from trade contractors when jobs are 100% complete.
• Closing:
  Keep FAST Field View up-to-date on status during construction and when home becomes ready to close (including any escrow arrangements that need to be done).
