The Student Document Brander assists with the branding and formatting of educational materials, including handouts, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Google Workspace (docs, sheets, slides, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and a keen eye for proofreading and consistency.

The K20 Center is committed to providing the professional learning required for the incumbent to successfully fulfill their job duties.
Format and BrandingThe Student Brander brands handouts, Power Points, and spreadsheets with instructional content that will be placed within K20’s instructional resource repository (learn.k20center.ou.edu) or used for professional development events.
- Format and brand resources tailored for both print and digital media, ensuring a polished and visually appealing outcome.
- Pay careful attention to branding guidelines and formatting standards.
The incumbent will work with requesting parties to ensure an understanding of project needs, gather a sense of the target audience, and support the planning and implementation of the team's projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Task Execution:
Engage in executing assigned project tasks, ensuring they are completed in accordance with the project plan and within the specified time. - Communication and Reporting:
Engage in established communication channels to inform stakeholders about the progress of assigned tasks. Fully participate in regular updates, reports, and status meetings. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders, including community members, partners, and team members. Address their needs and concerns while keeping them informed about project developments.
The incumbent will ensure documents maintain a professional appearance by identifying and correcting grammatical errors during the transfer process.
- Grammar and Style Consistency:
Edit content to maintain a consistent, professional style, adhering to brand guidelines. Correct grammatical errors, clarity, and consistency for polished final product aligning with communication standards.
The incumbent will ensure the messaging is accurate, clear, and fits within K20 branding guidelines. This will enable staff to facilitate effective communications within and outside the K20 Center by ensuring that information flows efficiently and accurately while fostering collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Internal Communications:
Establish internal communication strategies to stay informed about project status and deadlines. Utilize internal communication platforms such as email, Microsoft Teams, and scheduled meetings to ensure consistent and timely information sharing across the organization. - Content Creation:
Develop and distribute content, including branded materials, graphics, presentations, and multimedia, to convey key messages and information. Ensure content is clear, consistent, and engaging. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders by maintaining open lines of communication and providing regular updates on project activities. Encourage active participation and feedback to strengthen collaboration and support project success. - Communication Strategy Development:
Collaborate with leadership and project teams to design and execute comprehensive communication plans that align with the goals of sponsored projects. These strategies should enhance visibility, promote engagement, and support the overall impact of educational initiatives.

Required
Education:
Must be currently enrolled in the Spring semester as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
