After school Mentor/Leader - Impact the lives of Norman Middle School Students
Loveworks Leadership is a youth leadership organization committed to helping middle school students discover their potential and live into their dreams. We primarily serve 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students with programs that focus on leadership and character development, experiential learning, and community impact. Through mentorship and hands‑on activities, the programs are designed to help students make positive life choices, discover career paths, and set them on a trajectory for personal success.
Our After school Leadership Program and In‑School Leadership Classes kick off in August and run through the school year into May. Volunteers work directly with students in both small‑group and large‑group settings, mentoring and connecting with them while leading conversations and activities. Additional duties include riding buses with students to Loveworks each day, serving snack and dinner, checking in students, and setting up environments.
The program operates Monday‑Thursday from 3:00 pm/3:30 pm to 6:15 pm at the Loveworks Center, 219 E Gray St, Norman, OK 73069.
Each semester, Loveworks hosts multiple Leadership and Community Impact events for our students—an excellent opportunity for volunteers who cannot serve during the regular week. In addition, we regularly need help in the office with administrative and campus environment projects during our 9:00 am–6:00 pm office hours Monday‑Friday.
- Shift available: 3:00 pm/3:30 pm – 6:15 pm (After school Volunteering)
