Part-time. Possible shifts Sunday-Friday, 10:00am-10:00pm. Onsite.

Office Assistants (OAs) provide the Student Learning Center's front desk reception and student services duties in Lissa and Cy Wagner Hall, the Cross Learning Center (Cross Village
A), and various locations across campus. Duties include client check‑in/out, making appointments for ASC Action Tutoring, checking resources in/out, answering ASC Action program questions, phone duties, session management, keeping spaces clean and organized, and equipment setup/storage.
OAs provide a welcoming, inviting atmosphere for our centers, spaces and online sessions, and play an integral role in our data collection process, tracking every student visit, and performing data entry and corrections in iAdvise.
Required Training- New OA Training: first week of Spring 2026 classes, time to be determined based on staff availability
- CRLA Training Conference: TBA (Friday, January 23, 2026, 4pm - 7pm or Saturday, January 24, 2026, 8am - 1pm)
- Monthly OA Meetings: time to be determined based on staff availability
- Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring 2026 class schedule.
- Must have completed at least 12 undergraduate hours as an OU Norman Campus student.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Technical skills (web-based software, data entry).
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all people.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Awarded Work Study.
