The Stacks Management Team provides accurate, managed items that are easily accessible to users of Bizzell Memorial Library and its collections.
Responsibilities Include:- Shelving books
- Picking up books left out of place
- Measures incoming and outgoing material
- Shelf-reads, Straightens, and Dusts material
- Assists patrons looking for books and refers other questions to other library and university departments
- Searches for missing books
- Shifts portions of the collection
- Other duties as assigned
Required
Education:
Must be currently enrolled in the Spring Term as a student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
Must attach Spring 2026 OU class schedule.
Skills- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to push, lift, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Valid Driver's License
