The Civil EIT/EI — Water Resources supports engineering design and development across all phases of civil water/wastewater treatment projects. This role collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality, timely, and compliant design solutions. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both office and field environments.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
- Assist in the design and coordination of civil engineering projects related to water/wastewater treatment systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other industry software to develop and revise construction drawings and technical documents.
- Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate on design timelines and deliverables.
- Conduct limited field visits and site observations under minimal supervision.
- Communicate project status and needs effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) certification.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and other civil design software.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in water/wastewater treatment or related civil engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with field observation and construction administration tasks.
