Job Summary
- Accesses the patient's condition

- Assists in the maintenance of patient ultrasound exam information.
- Assists in maintaining the unit in working order
Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent as defined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS),
ExperienceNone. One year of experience preferred.
Licensure/CertificationAmerican Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or registry eligible. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registered or registry eligible. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) registered or registry eligible. Must obtain Cardiac or Vascular registry within 1 year of hiring, both preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
