Pay Range: Targeted pay up to $15.00 hourly, based on experience.

Work Schedule: Varies based on business needs. Will be required to work home football game days. Essential position and may be required to work during inclement weather or other campus closure.

Position Introduction:This position serves as a first line assistant supervisor responsible for preparation, production and/or serving of food items for Union Market. Will work to hold restaurant employees to all best practices. Determines work priorities and assigns work to food service workers and students, while also cooking, cleaning, serving and completing necessary administrative responsibilities. Will complete other duties as assigned.
Normally, employees on a 5 hour shift receive a free meal. Uniforms are provided at no cost, but must be maintained by the employee.
As essential personnel you may be required to work during University closings or inclement weather. Nights and weekends may apply for any operations.
Hepatitis A Vaccine required if hired, or annual testing.
Cleveland County Food Handlers Card required within onboarding period.
RequiredEducation and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED or graduate of culinary school.
- 12 months of restaurant/customer service experience.
- Ability to obtain a Food Handlers License
- Serv Safe Certification
- 12 months of restaurant kitchen/cooking supervisory experience.
