Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Position SummaryDo you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families.
There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. - Be a Team Member:
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to support the needs of the business. - Be an Expert:
Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. - Be a Techie:
Uses digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages their use. - Be an Owner:
Drives area performance; uses digital tools; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; guides peers and addresses customer needs per company policies. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; executes basics at the highest level; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion. - Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follows Open Door Policy and applies these in business processes and practices.
- Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; prioritizes, meets deadlines, and communicates progress; identifies opportunities for improvement and adapts to changes.
What you’ll do beyond the core responsibilities: help ensure prepared foods area has high-quality products, maintain clean shelves, verify expiration dates, and manage temperature control; prepare and serve ready-to-eat food; maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
