Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading boxes
• Breaking down boxes
• Logging, storing, and organizing donations
• Ordering food from the regional food bank
• Managing upkeep of common areas (cleaning, straightening & organizing)
• Packing donation boxes
• Assist administration and program staff as needed

Education Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in the Spring semester 2026 as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

• Attach Spring 2026 class schedule
• Have received and accepted a Federal Work Study award for the Spring 2026 semester

Skills

• Ability to lift boxes (5-15 lbs.)
• Ability to communicate effectively with others orally and in writing
• Ability to write legibly
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and volunteers
• Ability to operate a computer using e‑mail, word processing and other applications related to assigned duties
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to organizational change
• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
• Attention to detail, problem solving, multitasking

Department Preferences

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
• Customer service experience
