Job Description

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in Norman, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies in a commercial real estate environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as part of Allied Universal's standards.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Assist in enforcing property rules and regulations to help to deter policy violations and support a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
