- Class Schedule (Spring 2026 OU class schedule)
- Assist with all facets of athletic equipment and uniforms assigned to varsity intercollegiate athletic teams.
- Ensure all equipment and uniform needs are met for assigned sports practices and competitions.
- Adhere to policies and procedures regarding distribution of equipment for assigned intercollegiate sports.
- Adhere to OSHA requirements and NCAA regulations regarding equipment safety.
- Assist with all laundry room operations, storing necessary laundry and supplies for use by Athletic Department staff.
- Assist with facility event set-up for all varsity intercollegiate athletic teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Applicants will be assigned to one of the 21 varsity sports within the OU Athletics Department; assignment is determined by head coaches and full‑time equipment staff.
- Currently enrolled in the Spring 2026 term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding, following, and enforcing safety procedures.
- Computer skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet. - Knowledge of intercollegiate athletic programs and specifically equipment room operations.
- Team oriented, accountable, and able to work independently.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for a long period of time.
- Ability to bend, reach, climb, and touch.
- Willingness to participate in activities related to practice, including shagging balls, collecting uniforms, and setting up necessary sports equipment.
- Experience as an equipment manager, youth sports coach/referee, or student‑athlete.
