Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Any experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
License and
Certifications:
Valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver's License, Class B, must be obtained within six (6) months of hire, and satisfactory driving record.
Skills:
Interpersonal skills necessary to be courteous of fellow employees, citizens, and businesses while performing duties.
Rides on the back of a truck and picks up trash on an assigned route; manually lifts residential containers; empties container contents into back of truck. Assists Sanitation Worker II as needed to perform tasks as a ground guide when backing and positioning equipment. Operates compactor mechanism on truck by manually pushing lever to start the automatic packing of refuse. Picks up yard trash such as limbs, leaves, and grass bags;
slices grass bags with knife and deposits clippings into truck. Observes pick up area to
