The Role
As Lead Fire Risk Assessor ,youwillundertakeandleadlifesafetyfireriskassessmentsacrossabroadrangeofpremiseswhileprovidingtechnicaloversight,quality assurance,mentoring,andguidancetothewiderassessmentteam.
Youwillplayakeyroleinensuringfireriskassessmentsarecompletedtothehigheststandardsofaccuracy,professionalism,and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conductcomprehensivelifesafetyfireriskassessments.
Leadoncomplex,higher-risk,andtechnicallychallengingprojects.
Produce clear,practical,andcompliantfireriskassessmentreports.
Reviewandqualityassuretheworkofotherassessors.
Actasatechnicalpointofreferenceforcomplexfiresafetyissues.
Supportcompetencyreviews,witnessed assessments,andtechnicalaudits.
Mentoranddevelop Fire Risk Assessorswithintheteam .
Assistwithcertificationauditsandcomplianceactivities.
Provideprofessionalfiresafetyadviceandguidance.
Buildandmaintainstrongclientrelationships.
About You
Essential Requirements
Provenexperienceundertaking Fire Risk Assessments .
StrongunderstandingofUKfiresafetylegislationandguidance.
Excellent report-writingandcommunicationskills.
Abilitytomanageworkloadindependentlyandprioritiseeffectively.
Experienceassessingavarietyofbuildingtypesandoccupancies.
FullUKDriving
Licence.
Desirable
Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification .
Membershipofarecognisedprofessionalbody(IFE,IFSMorequivalent).
Experiencereviewingandvalidating Fire Risk Assessments .
Experiencementoringorsupportingjuniorassessors.
KnowledgeofPAS
79,BS9999,BS9991andassociatedfiresafetyguidance.
Experienceusingfireriskassessmentsoftwaresuchas Risk Base .
