You will operate in a dynamic environment with varied and sometimes unfamiliar technical challenges, requiring strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a practical engineering mindset to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions that enable data-driven outcomes for our client. This list is not exhaustive; rather an outline of responsibilities that may need ownership. In this role, you will:
Work on high impact projects focused on cloud migration and data management. Build scalable, secure systems and contributing to the full software development lifecycle. Design, develop, test, and deployment of a new analytic hosting platform. Bugfixes and feature requests for existing mission facing analytics. Engineering support to MLOps engineers and Data Scientists. These are unpredictable and highly variable requirements, potentially using unfamiliar technology, so a flexible style is required.
In this role, we are looking for a mixture of the following skills:
Python Kubernetes Docker CI/CD basics (Gitlab pipelines) Data science and MLOps knowledge (highly desirable) Spark (highly desirable) Scala (highly desirable) S3 (highly desirable) Graph databases (highly desirable) Elasticsearch (highly desirable) Vector stores (highly desirable) OIDC/OAuth (highly desirable) NodeJS (highly desirable) React (highly desirable) Will be required to hold a higher level of clearance.
