Two-week shift pattern with compressed hours:

Setting, programming, and operating CNC turning and boring machines Component Production:
Manufacturing precision parts from billets, castings, fabrications, and forgings Programming

Activities:

Creating and editing CNC programs to meet engineering specifications Machine Setup:
Preparing machines for one-off and small batch work Quality Control:
Inspecting components using manual measurement equipment for dimensional and surface finish accuracy Drawing Interpretation:
Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings Process Improvement:
Supporting efficient machining practices and continuous improvement Equipment Care:
Maintaining machines and tools to high operational standards CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL Apprenticeship Background:
Time-served machine shop apprenticeship Machining

Experience:

Previous experience with CNC lathes or vertical borers Job Setup

Skills:

Ability to set and run one-off jobs Programming Knowledge:

Experience with CNC programming Measurement
