Senior Software Engineer; React Native

Position: Senior Software Engineer (React Native)
Sanderson are working with a leading financial services organisation that puts customers at the centre of its business. The company is going through a period of impressive growth across their technology team, creating opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the development of its digital platforms. As a Senior React Native Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing secure, scalable and high-performing mobile experiences that allow clients to seamlessly access and manage savings products.

You'll work with React Native, Type Script, and modern mobile architectures while influencing technology choices, shaping best practices, and collaborating closely with cross-functional squads.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native, React and Type Script. Lead technical scoping, considering architectural boundaries, non-functional requirements and long-term scalability. Integrate mobile applications with backend services via REST APIs and/or Graph

QL. Improve and maintain CI/CD processes, deployment strategies and testing practices across the team. Troubleshoot complex mobile issues, optimise performance and support the evolution of existing applications.

Skills & Experience:

Extensive experience building React Native applications at enterprise scale using Type Script and React. Proficient in mobile architecture, design patterns and scalable app decomposition. Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing using tools such as Jest, Detox and Testing Library. Strong understanding of state management (Redux, MobX) and integration with backend APIs. Knowledge of native mobile technologies such as Swift, Swift

UI, Kotlin, Xcode and Android Studio. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a starting salary up to £80,000 (DOE) and a remote-first working model.
