Schedule:
30 hours/week
Sign‑on Bonus: $3,000
- Assess and treat infants and toddlers (birth to age
3) with delays in fine‑motor, sensory, perceptual, and self‑care skills. - Collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to create individualized service plans.
- Provide home‑ and community‑based services including feeding therapy, equipment adaptation, and supervision of Certified OT Assistants (COTAs).
- Adhere to Massachusetts DPH Early Intervention program standards and deliver care within that framework.
- Perform essential job functions, including in‑person client contact as required and maintaining necessary certifications (CPR, First Aid, MMR immunity).
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in good standing with the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals.
- Early Intervention Specialist certification by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) preferred, or eligibility to receive certification within two years.
- Familiarity with specialized treatment approaches such as orthotics, neurodevelopmental treatment, sensory motor integration, feeding support, and related techniques.
- Experience in early childhood assessment and program development.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, work independently, and manage a multi‑tasking, stress‑prone environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills; cultural competency.
- Proficient with electronic documentation; basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) competency.
- Valid driver’s license, private vehicle availability, up‑to‑date car insurance.
- Background check clearance (CORI, SORI, DPPC, National Fingerprint).
- Home Visiting experience.
- COTA supervisory experience.
- Experience with electronic documentation systems.
- Quarterly productivity bonus totaling $3,000 with structured payment schedule.
