As a Physician Assistant in the North Adams Medical Facility of Berkshire Health Systems, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care to the community. This includes the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions of patients.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, obtain patient histories, and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory tests, EKGs, imaging procedures, and others as necessary.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician.
• Document and maintain accurate medical records, including progress notes, patient data, and treatment plans, following hospital policies.
