Salary: $16.00 - $18.78 per hour

Job responsibilities:

• Assist in serving meals in a timely manner.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, work tables, refrigerators/freezers, and other surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors as directed.
• Carry soiled utensils to the wash area and return cleaned utensils to proper storage.
• Wash and clean dishes and utensils as directed.
• Maintain clean, dry, and hazardous‑equipment‑free work areas.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining room stations as instructed.
• Assist the cook in preparing meals.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Deliver food carts, trays, and other items to designated areas.
• Remove food trays from carts and dining rooms and take them to the dishwashing area.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed.
• Maintain food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times.
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies.
• Assist in food preparation for special meals for parties and other events.
