General Manufacturing Operator

General Manufacturing Operator - $16/$19

The General Manufacturing Operator will follow standard operating procedures in our manufacturing operations throughout our Thick and Thin Film Divisions. Operators will be trained in production areas such as visual inspection, laser trimming, solder dipping, electrical testing, etc. Lab coats must be worn in our production areas.

• Handle small parts and wafers with tweezers
• Visually inspect chip resistors and wafers utilizing high power microscopes
• Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing Manager/Supervisor
• Follow procedures and production travelers
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Manager/Supervisor
• Follow safety regulations for handling hazardous chemicals, when needed
• Maintain workspace cleanliness through routine cleaning and good work practices

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

While performing the duties of a general manufacturing operator, the employee may regularly be required to move around or sit or stand at equipment or a microscope for long stretches of time. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Some physical strength and stamina are required for regular cleaning duties.

This is a full-time position Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m.

- 3:30 p.m.

Occasional travel between our Attleboro and North Attleboro locations may be required.

• High school diploma
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to read and write English

• Mechanical aptitude
• Chemical handling experience
• Prior experience working for ISO 9000 certified company
