Case Facility Management Solutions is an industry leader in exterior facility services, focused on snow and landscape services. We serve over 30,000 small and large commercial sites across 50 states and continue to grow at a rapid pace.
Position Overview
The Director of Business Development will identify new customers, build and manage a pipeline, and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to C‑level executives. This role plays a key part in expanding our footprint in the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities- Research and define market size and potential within designated territory.
- Develop a target list of vertical market contacts and conduct cold‑calling to identify decision‑makers.
- Coordinate outbound marketing campaigns with sales support and marketing teams.
- Pursue target list of potential customers for bid opportunities and attend trade shows and corporate visits.
- Effectively sell bundled services solutions and pre‑empt published RFP schedules with creative, value‑added service solutions.
- Record and maintain daily sales activity and results in the company CRM system.
- Identify prospect needs and develop customized sales proposals, plans and presentations in partnership with sales support and marketing.
- Create opportunities based on prospecting and develop a pipeline that tracks through Salesforce.
- Communicate with prospects throughout the RFP process and support the RFP manager during bid development.
- Build and maintain relationships cross‑functionally and expand contact networks within prospects’ organizations.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience with a proven track record of results.
- Strong prospecting skills to identify and generate leads through research, networking and referrals.
- Experience managing an entire sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally to drive company strategies and implement technology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly demonstrate Case’s value proposition.
- Experience in landscape, snow, parking‑lot maintenance or related services.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and other CRM software, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self‑starter with proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strategic thinking in developing pipeline and growth opportunities.
