AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 2025/2026 School Year.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech, or Speech Audiology.
• Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (PEL) Professional Education License through ISBE, or ability to obtain it.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
• Willingness to participate in events outside normal hours, travel as needed, and engage actively in the role.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.

Job Description:

Caseload and classroom type will vary based on school location. Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 35 to 40 hours per week, following the academic district calendar.

Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions:

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

Salary: $1,750.00 – $1,820.00/week
