Hiring a full‑time or part‑time associate to help customers discover their needs and find the products and services that give them the best cycling experience possible. Focus is on exceeding customer expectations and sales goals in a fun, welcoming environment. Bike technician training is available for the right candidate.

• Interact with customers and provide exceptional customer service; educate customers about bicycles, accessories, clothing, and any other cycling‑related products or services in the store.
• Assist in the daily operations of the store, including restocking, cleaning, organizing, and merchandising.
• Deliver one‑of‑a‑kind customer service through direct and detailed interactions with customers.
• Opportunity for growth, learning bicycle mechanics from the best in the area.

• Greet customers and use the sales process to understand their needs and find the right combination of products and services.
• Provide positive and excited one‑of‑a‑kind customer service.
• Open and close cash registers.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Install vehicle rack systems and perform safety checks for customers.
• Describe merchandise and explain its use, operation, and care.
• Merchandise products according to the sales plan.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
• Inventory stock and requisition new stock.
• Prepare merchandise for purchase or rental.
• Sell or arrange for delivery, insurance, financing, or service contracts for merchandise.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

• Previous bike shop sales experience preferred but not required.
• Interest in working in a team environment, committed to providing excellent sales and service while increasing sales through service.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customers.
• Interest in developing own skills and knowledge.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to periodically lift 40 pounds.

• Knowledge and experience with cash registers.
• Desktop computer skills.
• Microsoft Windows proficiency.
• Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) software.
• Ability to speak Spanish.
