Forklift Operator

Ideal candidate must be able to work mandatory overtime

• Minimum of 6 months of related warehouse experience and operating (double reach stand‑up, sit‑down forklift, stand‑up dock truck)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Available to work overtime during the week and on weekends
• Ability to convert to Ryder
• Starting pay $18 per hour with $0.75 shift differential
• Regular hours for 2nd shift are 3:30 pm to 12:00 am; currently 10‑hour shifts from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am
• Onsite interviews and lift‑truck evaluations with potential candidates
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety, work instructions, and policies
• Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and walk in high‑traffic areas
• Input data into various WMS computer systems
• Work overtime as assigned
• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
• Recognize and correct potential process errors before they adversely affect the customer
• Recognize damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action when discovered
• Pull orders accurately as assigned
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify number of pallets picked and stage location
• Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process
• Be aware of and follow location and work‑center safety and security policies and procedures
• Perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
• May operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery

• At least 6 months of recent experience operating (double reach stand‑up, sit‑down forklift, stand‑up dock truck)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Available to work overtime during the week and on weekends
• Ability to convert to Ryder
• Knowledge of various material‑handling equipment is an asset
• Ability to work mandatory overtime and weekends
• Be able to perform general warehouse functions as needed
