As a member of the One Peak team, your goal will be to keep our patients as happy and healthy as possible! This role will require you to perform a variety of tasks in collaboration with internal and external staff to support patient care, exhibiting flexibility, and a can‑do attitude. We are a wellness‑oriented office so education is VERY important! All staff must take time to learn about our approach to wellness and how it impacts our patients’ lives, so they can speak confidently and passionately when talking to patients about One Peak.
DailyDuties
- Provides safe, comprehensive, empowering, and professional Nutrition and Fitness Coaching
- Coordinate patient’s plan of care with our providers as necessary
- Assist the providers in achieving patients health goals
- Ensures patients remain motivated to attain their personal health and fitness goals
- Engages patients in Peak Medical Clinic's services, supplements, and technology
- Maintains clean personal workspace
- Leads nutrition consultations and coaching sessions
- Facilitates seminars & group nutrition / fitness events for patients
- Develops and maintains a client base
- Promotes and sells Nutrition programs, information and supplements to patients
- Complies with all company safety rules
- Uses all required safety devices and personal protection equipment
- Reports accidents and injuries to supervisor as soon as possible
- Greeting guests and suggesting the appropriate therapies and treatment
- Performing consultations, both in person and over the phone
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Previous diet and nutritional coaching experience, required
- Accredited bachelor’s degree in dietetics or a similar major, preferred
- A master’s degree is required for licensing as a nutritionist, preferred
