Bring energy, personality, and exceptional service to Plank House Restaurant and Ko-Kwel Spirits by crafting great drinks, creating memorable moments, and ensuring every guest feels welcome from the first pour to the last goodbye. The Distillery/Restaurant Bartender delivers exceptional guest service while representing the Ko-Kwel spirits brand. This role blends high-end mixology and hospitality with brand education, offering guests handcrafted cocktails, curated spirit tastings, and memorable experiences that showcase our culture and craftmanship.

In addition to preparing beverages this position actively promotes and sells Cask Club memberships, building brand loyalty and driving guest engagement. The bartender serves as both an ambassador for the distillery and a key contributor to the overall guest experience.

• Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
• Serve up signature cocktails, cold brews, and delicious bites while fostering a lively, welcoming bar and lounge atmosphere.
• Conduct guided tastings of Ko-Kwel Spirits products, providing educational and engaging storytelling about the distillation process, flavor profiles and brand heritage.
• Actively promote and sell Cask Club memberships, sharing detailed knowledge of the program and its benefits.
• Create and serve signature cocktails and spirit flights that highlight the distillery's portfolio.
• Demonstrate a deep menu knowledge and assist with recommendations, pairings, and upselling of Ko-Kwel Spirits.
• Maintain speed, accuracy and consistency during high-volume or peak service periods.
• Confidently open and close the bar/tasting room, ensuring everything runs smoothly and all side work is completed with care.
• Prioritize guest safety by practicing responsible alcohol service and staying alert to guest awareness at all times while keeping communication open with teammates and supervisors.
• Protect the trust of both guests and team members by upholding confidentiality at all times.
• Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

You ll need to be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when we are busy. During your shift, you ll be on your feet standing for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use your hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and be able to understand how to use equipment to safely maneuver a full keg of beer, carry cases of bottled beer with a hand truck, bend, twist, reach and otherwise be physically limber as duties necessitate.

Occasionally sit. It s important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people. Just a heads-up-the casino environment may expose you to secondhand smoke.
