We are working with a well-capitalised investment firm based in Doha, Qatar, on an exciting opportunity for an accountant to join their finance department. You will be operating as the key point of contact for all financial operations portfolio companies matters and be tasked with building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a high-exposure opportunity involving close interaction with senior stakeholders and key decision makers.

• Financial reporting
• Statutory annual audits
• Group consolidation
• Tax and regulatory compliance
• Accounting policies, practices and procedures
• Company formations
• Accounting systems and process
• Invoice payment and receipts
• Treasury and banking
• Liaising with investment platforms

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Technical experience in auditing, financial controls, accounting and bookkeeping
• Professional accounting qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
• Ability to develop relationships with external advisors, banks and stakeholders
• Ability to work across multi-functional teams and in a collaborative environment
